Adding Trusted Locations in Excel
print icon

If you're using a Macro enabled workbook from the network drive and you get a "Trust Center" message telling you some features are disabled, we can add network folders as 'Trusted Locations' to allow these workbooks to function normally.

Note that you should exercise caution with this especially if the document originates from outside of ESP

with Excel open click on File and then "options" at the bottom of the window

Then click on Trust Center and Trust Center settings

1. Click Trusted Locations

2. make sure you tick "Allow Trusted Locations on my network"

3. Click "Add new location..." button

4. Enter the folder that the file is in and select the "subfolders are also trusted" if applicable.

Restart excel and any workbook in the selected folder(s) should now allow Macros
